Vogel Orchard

Here at Vogel Orchard we want nothing more than to sweeten up your life with our peaches and the amazing recipes we have created and discovered over the last 70 years we have been open. We encourage you to make the recipes below and share them with friends and family as we have. Enjoy! 


Vogel Orchard Spiced Peaches 

This recipe is best when using clingstone peaches. 


  • about 50 small peeled peaches 

  • 4-8 quart sized glass jars 

  • 5 cups of sugar 

  • 2 cups of 5% vinegar 

  • 3 cups of water 

  • Cinnamon sticks 

  • Whole cloves 


  • Bring the ingredients listed above to a boil 

  • Once boiling, simmer peaches in the juice (do not overcook)

  • Remove peaches from the juice and pack them tightly into the jars, leaving no space at the top

  • Pour juice over the peaches 

  • Seal the jars well 

  • Place the jars in a boiling hot water bath for about 12-15 minutes

Dessert Peach Enchiladas 


  • 4 cups of fresh peaches, peeled and sliced 

  • 1/2 cup of sugar 

  • 12-15 flour or wheat tortillas (regular size) 

  • 1/2 stick of butter 

  • Cinnamon sugar to taste 

  • Tap Water 

  • 9"x13" pan - spray with cooking spray 


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray pan. ​

  • Peel and slice peaches, then stir in sugar

  • Spoon peaches into tortillas and tightly roll the tortillas

  • Place rolled tortillas into pan, seam down. Space the tortillas closely, filling entire pan. It is okay for some tortillas to line the sides of the pan

  • Along the sides of the pan, pour water into it until water is approximately 3/4" high 

  • Slice butter and scatter on top of enchiladas

  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top of all enchiladas 

  • Bake in middle rack for 40-45 minutes

Vogel's Peach Bread 


  • 3 cups of flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon 

  • 1 tsp baking soda 

  • 2 cups of sugar 

  • 4 eggs beaten 

  • 1 and 1/4 cup of vegetable oil 

  • 2 cups of peaches, peeled and chopped 


  • Preheat oven to 350°F

  • Sift dry ingredients together 

  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well 

  • Bake in 2 greased and floured 9x5x3 loaf pans at 350° for 1 hour

Brie Stuffed Crescent Roll 


  • Nelda's Peach Preserves

  • 1 can of crescent rolls

  • 1/4 cup of sliced almonds 

  • 1 brie round 

  • 1 egg 

  • 1 tbsp water 


  • Unroll 1/2 of the can of crescent rolls 

  • Press seams together and place in the bottom of an 8 inch square pan 

  • Remove outer rind from brie round and place it on the bottom crescent layer 

  • Pour 1/2-3/4 cups of peach preserves on top of brie 

  • Sprinkle almonds on top of preserves 

  • Place remaining half of crescent roll, seams pressed together, on top of brie

  • Press rolls together and bring extra dough up the sides to close in the brie completely 

  • Beat together 1 egg and 1 tbsp of water 

  • Brush roll with egg wash and bake 15-18 minutes 

  • Enjoy with crackers! 

Brie Tarts with Nelda's Peach and Pear Preserves 


  • 2 packages of frozen phyllo tart shells

  • 1 brie round 

  • Nelda's Peach Preserves

  • Nelda's Pear Preserves

  • Sliced almonds 

  • Chopped walnuts


  • Preheat oven to 350°F

  • Place shells in mini-muffin pan 

  • Remove outer rind from brie round and cut brie into cubes 

  • Place one piece of brie into each tart 

  • Spoon 1/2 tsp of peach preserves over half the brie tarts

  • Spoon 1/2 tsp of pear preserves over other half 

  • Top tarts with sliced almonds or chopped walnuts 

  • Bake for 5-7 minutes 

Nelda's Peach Preserve Pizza


  • Nelda's Peach Preserves 

  • Pre-made pizza crust or any pizza dough 

  • Arugula 

  • Spinach 

  • Fresh mozzarella 

  • Chopped, roasted tomatoes 

  • Sliced pancetta 

  • Parmesan cheese  


  • Preheat oven to 400°F

  • Spread peach preserves on pizza crust or dough 

  • Top with arugula, spinach, slices of fresh mozzarella, and chopped roasted tomatoes 

  • Saute sliced pancetta and place on top of pizza 

  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until dough is cooked through 

Peach Butter Chipotle Glazed Meatballs 


  • Nelda's Peach Butter Chipotle Sauce 

  • 2 lbs. hamburger meat 

  • bbq sauce of choice 

  • 1 egg 

  • Salt 

  • Pepper 


  • Preheat oven to 350°F 

  • Add salt and pepper to hamburger meat

  • Add 1/2 cup of peach butter chipotle and 1/4 cup of bbq sauce to hamburger meat 

  • Add one egg to meat for binding 

  • Form meatballs 

  • Bake for 20-30 minutes 

  • As the meatballs bake, baste them with peach butter chipotle sauce 3-4 times 

Peach Butter Chipotle Pulled Pork/Chicken 


  • Nelda's Peach Butter Chipotle Sauce 

  • 4-6 boneless chicken breasts or 3 lbs of pork loin 

  • 1 small red onion 


  • Place chicken or pork in crockpot 

  • Pour 15 oz jar of peach butter chipotle over meat 

  • Top with sliced red onion 

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours 

  • Shred meat with forks 

  • Serve on buns with pickled onions, jalapenos, or sliced pickles 

Peach Butter Chipotle Chocolate Brownies 


  • Nelda's Peach Butter Chipotle Sauce 

  • Your favorite boxed brownie mix 


  • Follow box directions for mixing together the brownies 

  • Add 1/4 - 1/3 cup of peach butter chipotle sauce to the mixture 

  • Bake according to box instructions 

  • Enjoy -- it adds an unexpected, delicious kick! 


  • Vogel Orchard peaches 

  • 1-2 baguettes 

  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese 

  • 1 tbsp of honey 

  • Prosciutto 

  • Balsamic glaze 

  • Fresh basil 


  • Slice the baguettes into 1 inch thick pieces 

  • Put olive oil the slices and toast them 

  • In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese  with the honey 

  • Pan fry the prosciutto, about 1 minute per side

  • Chop prosciutto into small slices and set aside 

  • Slice your favorite VO peach

  • Put a spoonful of ricotta on each baguette slice 

  • Top with a slice of your favorite VO peach

  • Drizzle with balsamic and sprinkle with basil 

  • Enjoy! 


  • Nelda's Peach Butter Chipotle Sauce

  • 3-5 sweet potatoes

  • Butter

  • Seasonings of choice


  • Cut up sweet potatoes and boil them until tender

  • Mash together the sweet potatoes, Nelda's Peach Butter, and your favorite seasonings

  • Add a little butter for smoothness

  • Enjoy!



  • Pour Peach Butter over vanilla ice cream for a tasty dessert

  • Spread on toast, biscuits, bagels, or english muffins

  • Use as a baste for chicken or pork 


  • Spread on toast, biscuits, bagels, english muffins

  • Pour Peach Preserves over an 8 oz. block of cream cheese, top with sweet-n-spicy pickled jalapenos. Serve with crackers or corn chips.
